Morning Meditation

Make yourself comfortable whether sitting or laying down.

Music is optional or you may prefer the sound of nature.

Close your eyes as this will help the creative imagination.

Concentrate on your breathing.

Inhale for 4 seconds.

Hold your breath in for another 4 seconds.

Exhale for 4 seconds.

Repeat this cycle of breathing at least 5 times or more until you are comfortable creating a similar breathing cycle.

Picture the first red rays of the sun before it rises up from the horizon.

Imagine you are now seeing each individual ray. Notice every single ray.

The sun is now starting to slowly appear from the horizon.

Imagine that you are absorbing this energy from your head as the main entrance.

The light and warmth of the sun is now entering from your head chakra.

Allow the sun rays enter your head and slowly penetrate through all your body, right down to your toes.

Feel the light and warmth of this energy as it covers your body both inside and out.

Now see your body full of light and energy.

You are now immersed with warmth.

Allow yourself become the centre of this energy.

You are now the source of energy.

Begin to spread this energy.

Start exploring this light energy that has taken you over by spreading it.

Let it fill the room; then spread this energy across your neighbourhood, then your town, and then your country and beyond.

See how far you can spread this loving light energy knowing that there is no limit.

Concentrate on your breathing again for 5 cycles and then open your eyes slowly.

Feel the new day's energy inside you.
