Humanity has been searching for peace ever since inception. We have suffered much grief in our search for peace. This search has led to much resistance within the self first and then mirrored outwardly. Nations wage wars in order to bring peace.
This idea that we must wage wars to bring peace stems from our inner desire to have peace. While everyone desires and seeks peace, no one has yet come up with a solution that brings a lasting peace to fulfill this basic human need; a need which is far more paramount today than any other time in our history; since, our capacity for destruction has never been greater than today.
This search for peace has created resistance within. The reason for this resistance is that universal peace appears to be extremely hard to achieve. This concept has been deeply ingrained in our unconscious mind and thus reflects itself in our conscious actions. Remove the search and résistance disappears. The easiest route is then to see oneself as perfect now. There is no need to change anything but only to accept oneself as pure.
Human life has taken a major leap with technology and it is therefore necessary to make a mental shift to grasp the highest potential of our current situation. A free mind is capable of serving humanity far more effectively; to think outside of the paradigm.
Having peace is everyone's dream. It has been portrayed by all religions, prophets and in our times it has been the subject of many movies and stories. This peace exists in everyone’s imagination which has led us to the inner fight to fulfill this inwardly desire. Many have spoken about this illusive peace to the extent of creating religious as a unifying force in order to achieve this desire. Whilst the motive was originally a noble one, it has led to many wars between adherents of various religions.
