Time: 10-15 minutes last thing upon retiring to bed.
Make yourself comfortable whether sitting or laying on the bed.
Music is optional or you may prefer the sound of nature.
Close your eyes as this will help the creative imagination.
Concentrate on your breathing.
Repeat the same breathing exercise as for the morning meditation.
Now picture yourself in a comfortable and peaceful place.
Picture all the energy that you have absorbed in the morning meditation and other energies which you have been exposed to during your day.
Now replace the day's energy with the calm energy of the night.
Start with your head chakra and let this calming energy enter your body.
Exhale the energizing day energy and allow the soothing energy of the night to penetrate into your muscles.
Starting from your toes let every muscle in your body relax and absorb the calming energy of the night.
Now start releasing this calming energy outwardly, starting from your immediate surrounding.
Let it spread as far as it can go.
