Death Explained

The mind is the personality of the person. It also carries the blueprint of creation. It remains intact and attached to the spirit after death just as it has been attached to the physical body in life. The organ that houses the mind can loosely be translated as the brain but the human body has many intelligent organs, like the heart, the stomach and the rest of our sensory organs; each plays their part in assisting the brain to navigate through life’s experiences.

The mind is irrevocably attached to the spirit. The body is the physical vessel for the mind and the spirit. The mind is the link between the physical body – where thought is its sustenance - and spirit. It is always active and connected to the spirit even when the body is seemingly inactive as in deep-sleeping periods.

The spirit is a form of pure energy and for that reason it travels at very high speeds whereas the body is dense and ordinarily confined to gravity. The body is a relatively inert form of vibrating energy in comparison to the spirit which displays itself as an aura of colourful light around the body and is able to draw on non-physical experiences like dreams, visions and thoughts. The colour of the thought and its vividness is dependant on the awareness of the mind. This colour is the result of the resistance as the spirit slows down to display itself visibly in the physical body. It is like a shooting star that displays a beam of light where, in actual fact, it is a fading star. From the moment of birth, the body likewise is moving towards its physical demise, a state which we call death. Time then becomes relative to this observation, central to experience and what we call life.

The soul is our connection to eternity. It is the immortal breath of life, ever-present, with or without the body. It is the sum of all minds in full awareness eternally displayed within every moment and every atom in creation.

The soul is the witness of all creation and does not stand in judgment. The soul is the total creation. It has been called The Divine, The Omni-present, God and many other names. The soul in everyone is the same but the spirit differs. This difference is reflected in the vibrancy of the spirit’s colours, depending on the awareness of person, which is registered in his/her mind at any one point in time.

Every spirit seeks connection with the soul. The mind of that person has to come to the understanding that it dwells in the spirit and thus the mind can help the spirit achieve such eternal connection to the soul.

Reincarnation is the rebirth of the mind and not the spirit. The mind has the opportunity to fulfill its ultimate potential through various experiences and possibilities. The mind becomes blank when it comes into a new physical body to get another opportunity to help the spirit move along and achieve its ultimate purpose of reunion with the soul. This is a kind of blessing since forgetting about past lives gives us a fresh and new approach to life; like starting with a clean slate so to speak. This can be compared to having a good night’s sleep in order to give the body a fresh start for a new day.
