No one has died, been buried and then returned to tell of what is beyond this life. There have been a few near death experiences but such experiences are generally personal, reflecting the beliefs held at the time of the experience. They are, however, proof of continuation of life beyond this realm as well as indication that the belief, held in the mind, stays with the person at time of transformation. This is known as death.
This article tries to consider life and what is beyond and to see it from the point of view of a person holding a purity/conscious mind.
A human being is the sum of the physical body containing the mind, the spirit and the soul. These are not separate entities but have converged to manifest as one in the physical form. One can say that life as we know it is the most sacred of all, precisely because of this convergence.
The body lives in the mind which in turn lives in the spirit which then seeks reunion with the soul, which is carried within and has allowed this energy formation in order to experience itself. Out of these energies, only the body is subjected to death as we know it. The rest stay intact and are forever bonded on an eternal course with eternal experiences through physical and spiritual manifestations.
Recognition of the individual entity (the self) is always present in the mind. Individuality and perception does not disappear with the demise of the physical body.
The mind is the blueprint of the person. It has total knowledge. When it comes to this world through the birth of a child it also has an empty memory space which is the space filled by our journey-through-life experiences in the first place and reinforced by the choices the individual makes. This allows the Mind to go through new experiences in order to find its ultimate purpose of assisting the Spirit to reconnect with the Soul within. This is a process of awareness, remembrance and realization.
The mind can be compared to a new computer that has the hard disc with the operating system and programs already installed but with no content. The content is accumulated through experiences, knowledge and beliefs that we acquire during life. Somehow, we seem to have segmented this hard disc space into two spaces where we deposit good and bad experiences but forget that it is only one hard disc and this compartmentalization is of our own doing. Intelligence is when reason and judgment is used for the elevation of the self towards its ultimate purpose.
